Guitar combos

Anyone had any experience with the Guitar Combos software from Native Instruments? I got it with my Behringer USB interface - there are three combos which you can 'demo' for a month and then choose one. There are no manuals included and I cant find any on the NI website, so my main problem is that no matter what effect I choose, it all sounds the same - just a clean guitar?

I don't know Guitar Combos or the interface, but it sounds like there is a setting for the interface that is passing the input signal straight to the output. Something like "Direct Monitoring". Doesn't the Behringer come with the info on the software?

Nothing, just a CD with the programmes on.

Look in the driver settings for the interface for something along the lines of "Direct Monitoring" or "Zero-latency monitoring".

Do the input and output meters on Guitar Combos light up when you play? If not, have you set the Behringer as the default device (probably under "File > Audio and MIDI Settings")?
