The Pink and White ESP saga

So what used to be my 2007 ESP Standard Series Eclipse in Snow white is now slowly but surely becoming Snowhite and pink... >☹ . It seems the finish they put on is extremely thin as I'm noticing discoloration on some parts of the guitar. Those that know the eclipse's know that they have the belly "cutaway" and it's on the edges where the pink is coming through. I don't know if it;s pink because of a base coat that starting to show or what....

Bottom line, I am dissapointed...This is really one guitar I don't need to look relic'd. anyone else pick this up with their ESP's/guitars?

why on earth would they use a red/pink undercoat?

I know, I'm thinking of nicknaming it , The Marshmallöw or The Söftserve... If I needed to see the undercoat, I would've bought the Truckster..

Is this on the high end eclipse? or the the LTD series? Cos if its on a high end guitar its really a joke and you should write them!

I wont be suprised if there is more 2007 ESP's with the same problem.

@ Francis: Almost, mine is the ESP Eclipse 1 Standard Series with two tone and two volume knobs.

Hey there, i work for ESP in South Africa, we have brought in quite a few white Eclipses over the past 4 years and so far we have never had any complaints/returns with paint issues. Please could you give me a call so we can arrange a meeting to see the guitar and we will take it up with ESP Japan.
