Hi there - eventually got into this whole recording thing and am addicted! So here is my first recording, a cover of Dock of the Bay. I did a cover mainly so that I could play around and learn all the tricks - may not be to everybodys taste, and I know that there are a million people here with better guitar playing skills... let me know what you think anyways.

Here's what I used for those interested - Epiphone SG guitar through a Korg multi-effects pedal through a Behringer USB guitar interface into my computer where I used Audacity for the guitar recording and Hydrogen for the drums. Seriously not happy with the drums, but after three different versions and two nights, I thought that I should eventually just let go.
The song ended up sounding like something Me First and the Gimme Gimmes would do. But at least now I know how all the stuff works. Original songs to follow soon.
