Anyone got any experience getting drumming that you've done on a freeware programme into Audacity? Tried importing from Hydrogen but no luck, just an ear piercing squelch.
Spyke
Save the complete completed track in Hydrogen as a WAV.
In Audacity:
Project
Import Audio
Cut, copy and paste as need be.

Thanks for the help Spyke, tried that but still get the squelch - how do I save the Hydrogen track as a WAV? It saves as an h2song, and even if I change the file extension to WAV, Audacity doesn't read it - so I tried importing the file as raw data - doesn't seem to like that either...
Heath
hydrogen if i remember right creates a midi file , try importing the file in audacity as a midi file .

Also tried that - comes up with an error message...

You have to Export the song either as a .wav file or a midi file from within Hydrogen.
For .wav:
On the menu go "Project" -> "Export song" (or Ctrl+E)
Give it a file name and click on the "Export" button.
Hope that helps...

Awesome - thanks guys, CDee's method works - now to get recording my first song!
Spyke
Glad it came right.
Clean forgot that it needs to be exported from Hydrogen as a WAV, not saved as one. :-[
