One of the items I was searching for whilst in the UK was a humidifier that didn't require a sound hole in the middle of the guitar. This was for use with my Smoothtalker.

These even come with a no-brainer, easy to use humidity gauge in the packet. Stick it on the wall of the room where you keep your instruments, watch it change colour and give the instruments a lot or a little humidity - or even none at all - according to the colour.
Also the shape makes them easy to use with just about any kind of wooden instrument. The ones I bought are actually cello dampits, but they work quite well with a guitar. You can even use them with drums.
