The Challenge 26/06/2009

Renesongs · 2009-06-26T11:59:15+00:00

The challenge for this week is... The Greatest Rock Intro You and your band's intro at the start of your Live at Wembley show...you've just gone onto the dark stage, the crowd is restless and the rest of the band is waiting for your signal. You take a deep breath and nod at the drummer. The crowd roars as the first notes are played. One minute of awesome spectacle as the stage comes to life under blinding flashes of lasers and smoke. You can almost lean back and rest against the wall of sound coming from your amps behind you. Entries in by noon next Friday. PM your entries to me and let me know which category you want to be in

I haven't done anything.... yet. Hoping to get an hour later to throw something together.

Riaan wrote Sadly I didn't have the time this week to record something...can't enter for my own theme! I strummed my acoustic for five minutes this entire crappy and horrible week, and that was the extent of my music making... ☹

Anyway, looking forward to hear what you guys did!

Happy Birthday Riaan

My week was also crappy and horrible, must be the guitar kinship that we share, it's all in the universe! ?

mattayou wrote Mine in after much frustration with Cubase.

I also created some awesome crowd noises using MIDI on N-track, but when it came to Mixdown all MIDI tracks disappeared ☹

I have some crowd in mine, damn just when I thought I was being original. I'm going to put a lot of time in today, hopefully I will find that next 30seconds.

I entered this challenge for the first time... also put in some crowd sounds ? its pretty much necessary for this type of topic

mattayou

Don't worry Wantz my crowd did not come through on the mixdown so your may be original ?

Last time I was told the entries could go a bit over one minute, but not like 1:30.... Hope this still stands ☹

I agree about crowd sounds necessary, thats why I am so miffed about my Cubase....

Also had a busy week, so no entry from me either. Played around with some ideas. I can flesh them out in my own time I guess.
