Ja, Maxmusic did that to me as well, I place the order and they tell me they don't have stock. That was with a guitar bag they have on their site. That happened twice and in both cases (sorry) they sent me a more expensive one at the same cost.
They also had an incorrect price for a hard case and gave me the item at the advertised price which was way cheaper.
what I did though, was buy strings from them first. Only strings and if I had an issue it was a cheap loss. Generally I find them very good, although the out of stock issue is common even in Durban music shops they are very accomodating and are not shy to send you a better product instead.
