Major tonehound with enough money that when he wants to try something (pickups, speakers, effects), he can buy every variation, try them all and sell off the ones he doesn't end up using. He really knows what he's hearing and we have very similar tastes in tone, so when I buy something from him, I know what I'm getting tonally. My main guitar's one-piece Strat body came from him.
I don't think he has the ASTs anymore (he had both), he's into brown Fenders at the moment (Super I think), with a side-order of Allen amps. He goes through phases, but always returns to the Fender amps, his '66 Strat and a brace of Lentz guitars.
