Here are some links that'll get you started on backing tracks.. I'm not sure if they have 60's songs.. I'm not sure what songs were sung in the 60's.. ??? if you have some titles, maybe can help find em!

Good point. I know lots of stuff from the turn of last century onwards, but many I wouldn't be able to place in the correct decade (some I would though).

You'll be familiar with some of the artists at least: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beach Boys, etc., etc., etc..

Heres a list of many: http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/pages/best_songs60s.html

All the stuff I listened to as a young boy driving down to Cape Town with the folks. IMO that's the music that has stood the test of time so far... and just in the list above I can pull out 3 of my top ten "heroes": Namely, Hendrix, Clapton and the... wait for it. LEGENDARY Keith Richards

Howdy and welcome. Check out van basco karaoke player and midi search (just google "van basco"). Free midi player to download and lots of MIDI backing track files. Many of them are awful, but if you patiently keep looking, you'll find some good stuff.
