klaasvakie Spotify blessed me with this suggestion this morning ---- some epic riffage on this album. @Yeti maybe we should add Volcano Girls to a future garage days, seems like fun to play.
V8 And now for something completely different. What I think of as the grooviest death metal tune - circa 1991. Listening to it 20+yrs later is a little weird, it's not nearly as heavy as I recall but still somehow rather brutal ?
V8 Hugo Kant - Youtube finally got a recommendation right! Kinda ambient, kinda 60's movie soundtrack - I'm finding it very listanable in a laid back grooving way. Reminds me of Yonderboi/Kruder & Dorfmeister/Röyksopp.
V8 Wellllll, it's been far too long Mr Hendrix! There ain't a cover or live version of this song that (imo) comes remotely close to the original studio version. The outro solo is still my No.1 solo.
strataxe tHE SOUND of rain... yes we have load shedding. At the moment I'm in Pink Floyd mood. So a lot of that.
V8 The synths are sooo dirty, I can't help but enjoy. Pity the basslines are all sequenced, maybe a good thing - it might make the groove impossibly good.
V8 studmissile Great tune for back when music mattered. Cool groove - even better than the dude's 'tach (which is mighty epic)
