So since yesterday was my birthday, I've been feeling a little reflective, and thinking back to some of the stuff I used to listen to, and remembered upon this song....
Spacehog were not a band that I was particularly 'into', but being a bassist, the bass line of this song grasped me, and I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the fact that his voice was a bit different to the norm. Perhaps the strangest thing though was that the lead singer/bassist is most likely distantly related to me, since we share the same surname, which is a somewhat uncommon name. I'd be interested to see how far back I'd have to trace the tree to find the link, but I'm sure it'd be there!

Posted that song to my Facebook page the other day 8) And yip, the bassline is a beaut and the guitar riff one of the best of the era. Managed to find a couple other albums of theirs, but nothing touches this track.
