flatfourfan Well that's my good deed for today. No saving kids from a burning house tonight. But yeah..........they're pretty cool......I dig them. Loads going on in their music.
Malkav Been getting way back into fusion in a big way, jamming on Holdsworth's Heavy Machinery, Garsed & Helmerich's Exempt and Hiromi Uehara's Time Control ? With some Al Di Meola and E.S.T thrown in for good measure ? =
Bob-Dubery Martin Simpson - Bootleg USA There is some spectacular playing on this. All bar one track is live, and the balance is shifted a bit more than usual to Simpson's slide work. So if you have an interest in slide guitar then this may be something that you want to listen to. His performance of "Spoonful" really has the fireworks going off.
Bob-Dubery Squonk wrote The best of The Kinks - bought it yesterday. Yeah. I got a Kinks best off somewhere. I should dig it out. They had some great songs.
Psean Hammeron wrote Graveyard - Lights Out Cool band. I quite like their self-titled album but haven't heard this on.
Ray Well, all by mistake last night I found a channel screening a series called Hatfields and McCoys. About a post civil ware fanily feud. And hell, I was enjoying it. And I listened a bit to the music and hell I enjoyed that even more. So, I hopped onto itunes and bought the music. Stuff by John Debney and Tony Morales. 39 tracks worth of the stuff for 69-99. And these okes have pretty much got me in the palm of their hand hey.
Bob-Dubery PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love. And I kind of like it, but the problem I have with PJ is that I can't quite match the albums to the critical acclaim. Kind of like she's good and overrated at the same time.
Dimitri-Nutt Linkin Park 8) Pretty much the first band to get me to start listening to Rock/Nu Metal/Punk/Alternative/ETC...
flatfourfan Dimitri Nutt wrote Linkin Park 8) Pretty much the first band to get me to start listening to Rock/Nu Metal/Punk/Alternative/ETC... In that case, they have served their purpose, so now you can stop listening to them.....lol.
