Sure, you can have weird and wonderful guitars. Yours is a fine example, but the fact that it has an asymmetrical double cutaway does not mean you can call this a Strat, the fact that it has hard bridge and two humbuckers doesn't mean you can call it a Les Paul and the fact that it has f-holes doesn't mean you can call it a violin. Similarly, I would suggest that few of those earlier batch of guitars can really be called Teles.
