Pron.... GFSA style.

I know it's irrational, but I reckon we should have a thread where you can post links to guitars you want real bad, and guitars you think are just downright sexy. I'll [obviously] go first.... Its not aGibson or Epiphone but still looks good.

The back shows it's a "Tele" with a twist (or two)

Swamp Ash body
Eastern Hard Rock Maple neck
Pickups are by Suhr. The neck pickup is splitable.

I probably like the back of the guitar better than the top ?

Odd though to have a through-body neck that isn't. It's really a bolt on neck.

true... but i like that! damn its hot!!!
better than the yucky purple pink prs above it! ?

Agreed, that's one of the finest quilted maple tops I've ever seen, and bookmatched quilted like this specimen is almost a fetish for me when it comes to guitar pron! Staggering beauty on that axe, though I'm not sure I'd go for purpley-lilac-or-whatever-the-colour is... that top in tobacco burst, or a blue burst, would have me quitting this thread for health and sanity reasons.

Id take that over the purple colour... or the solid blue...

But this.... Man oh man... The best looking paint job i have ever seen!!!

I think those types of finishes work better on PRS than Gibsons. "Porn" tends to be more "in your face" so I thought I'd post some wild ones ?

That's what this place is here for. Questioning the ultra quiltiness pushed to the max (did I just write that? Damn I'm old). But that's a taste thing. All comers should be represented here, I reckon.

Ja, quilted finishes are like busty babes in neon Spandex gymsuits doing starjumps in front of the squash courts. I can see the appeal and I can fully understand why some folks drool over it..... but it just doesn't push my buttons. Screams a bit too loudly for attention imo.

So you're a more sexy librarian type eh?

chris77

Well beauty is all in the eye of the beerholder, but yes, I would rather steal a glance at a sexy librarian than ogle a pin-up. ?

I don't think I'd really like to have, or play, a Zemaitis guitar. But they do look amazing.

That does look cool, wonder what it weighs.

I like this for an almost 50's vibe

RG2077XL - I am in love with these, but they're as rare as rocking horse shit...
