I know it's irrational, but I reckon we should have a thread where you can post links to guitars you want real bad, and guitars you think are just downright sexy. I'll [obviously] go first.... Its not aGibson or Epiphone but still looks good.

Seems the site I linked from does not like hot-linking. I'll make another plan and post them again!

Having played one I can say it sounds much better than it looks. I for one would not be caught dead on stage with one of them, may as well strap on a Parker Fly!

Squonk

Feels like a Strat and sounds like a Gibson ?

I am still a noob when it comes to electric guitar, so dont have much experience on Strats or LP's etc. But it plays beautifully, the neck is a real pleasure and with some tweaking I have managed to get a quite a decent Strat tone using the neck pickup as a single coil.

There are two humbuckers which can be changed to single coil by adjusting the tone knob. There is also an out of phase switch which gives you some extra tonal variety.

Just recently acquired an amp(A big upgrade from headphones and PC Speaker) , so will be experimenting a lot in the future.

I have always wanted one and a friend of mine who used to work at Paul Bothners about 5 years ago, organized a deal for me. R1000.00 with the solid flight case.

I like it. Kinda a flat top solid body ES with longer horns and Fender Bass pickguard ?

Peavey T-60 is so totally a guitar I can see some don't-give-a-sh*& hipster playing and a few years later there are reissues and everyone wants one. Kinda like Cobain and his Mustangs.

I'm not very knowledgeable on Gretsch in general, but I stumbled across this yesterday and it set my heart racing! Do I want to know how far out of my reach this is? It is stunning!

Duo jet. you could probably fetch one for about R8000 here. There was one in the Paul Bothners in Somerset West.

What the Hellfire! Must be the most difficult guitar(s) to play unless you have a spilt guitar personality each with his own preferred scale length.

On the other hand Singe could have one neck in open G so that we don't have to wait 30min while he switches guitars!
