Pron.... GFSA style.

I know it's irrational, but I reckon we should have a thread where you can post links to guitars you want real bad, and guitars you think are just downright sexy. I'll [obviously] go first.... Its not aGibson or Epiphone but still looks good.

What, no Gandhi? Strange combination of people. What the hell is Lennon doing in there?! Technically I can't say that because according to him there is no hell. I would have done Mother Teresa, Gandhi and the Dalai Lama.

Ugly guitar IMO

It's always going to be very debatable. Everyone mentioned so far had some very serious flaws and questionable benefits to the world (with the possible exception of ol' Madiba who I've never really heard of doing anything really awful and who did literally negotiate the end of apartheid).

Ugly guitar IMO

I'm right with you there Aja ?

This company - http://www.electricalguitarcompany.com - is continuing the ideas of the Travis Bean guitars of the '70s: experiments in aluminium. What I particularly like is that they even have aluminium fretboards. Very cool looking guitars. And I think they might look good when they're all scratched up and dull too.

dee

Apart from that hideous headstock, the middle one is a fine piece of art.

Check this guy's living room. I think I just had a guitargasm.

Are those originals? Surely not. Unless the photo is mirrored horizontally. Anyway, nice collection, even though I would be very annoyed if this was my friend, not being able to play his guitars and all...

dee

Wow, I never even knew they made that many left handed guitars ?

That is actually clever. The felt/suede backdrops make it appear both artistic and practical.

Looks at the amps. The Fender & Peavey logos can clearly be seen in the corner. So it is not mirrored.

Imagine that! It's like a kid walking into a candy store where everything is free... but made of plastic.

Of course! There I was trying to zoom in to resolve the detail on the headstocks or the clocks on the table when the Fender & Peavey logos are staring me in the face. LOL.

And now, if you can forgive me for posting something a bit more base.

I'm not saying I like it, but it is as close to pron as you'll get...

Huh?

Showing my ignorance. My impression is that long ago, left handed guitars didn't exist. So if these were all original and hence old they should all be right handed thereby forcing the image to be mirrored. Eh ja. That is all.

singemonkey

I'm guessing lefties are a bit of a bargain by the standards of those guitars. The most famous is Paul McCartney's 1960 'burst.

Body's made of about 25 pieces. So probably a stock Chinese Squier? ?

I like that Burns. Wouldn't care to have one, but I like the look of it.
