I know it's irrational, but I reckon we should have a thread where you can post links to guitars you want real bad, and guitars you think are just downright sexy. I'll [obviously] go first.... Its not aGibson or Epiphone but still looks good.

Top is sitka. Back and sides are cocobolo. The fingerboard and neck are mahogany. Bindings are maple.

You noticed? ?

I am usually allergic to that transparent blue (or green) finish on a guitar, but this one is not so worrying to me. Somehow it's more subtle, a little more understated.

Dig those bindings, and the sapwood in the fingerboard.

You mean other than not being Teles?

Personally I think things like this are an abomination, a contravention of the natural order of things. Fenders with humbuckers and through necks? That's worse than all this cloning and maniupulation of DNA that people are gaaning on about.

They had one with patterns similar to this at musicmate in cresta a while back. But at R14'000 it was a bit steep ???
