What do you call your acoustic guitar?

I have heard all of the above being used to describe a standard acoustic guitar that has a pickup of some type installed (typically piezoelectric) What do you prefer to use?

Obviously this excludes weird models like the fender stratacoustic or line6 modeling guitars or anything else like that.

I mostly call mine "electro-acoustic", but there have been occassions when my fingers hurt so much I simply called it "bastard"... ?

I call it "George", but it never comes...

It's an acoustic-electric. It is a primarily acoustic guitar that has been electrified.

Electric-, semi- and electro-acoustic more properly describe a hollow body electric guitar with magnetic pickups like a Gibson ES335 or ES175, etc. They are primarily electric guitars that are "acoustified".

"Amplified-acoustic could also be a guitar with a mic in front of it. Piezo-acoustic is vague at best as not all acoustic-electrics have piezo pickups.

I like it for getting a believable acoustic tone out of my electric amp and when I go to the gain channel will still do powerchords. Saves me from having to switch guitars on songs that need it. We do Prince's "The Cross" with the band and I only change program once. Oh and it gets feedback very easily ?
Unplugged it is good enough for camp fires. Keira almost said it should be in the camp fire, I still think it's fine for sitting next to it. I like my dreadnoughts a lot better unplugged though.
