What is your dream guitar and amp?

aja

What is your dream guitar to own one day? Electric or acoustic or both?
And your dream amp?
If money were no option...
I'm just interested to see what people want in a guitar these days...
And besides, I'm a student so I am still allowed to dream and fool myself into thinking that I might somehow buy these things one day haha

My dream electric guitar would be the Vox Virage Double-cut Semi-Hollowbody:

My dream acoustic is the Takamine Limited 2009 Grand auditorium with cooltube2 preamp:

My dream amp is the Fender '57 twin-amp tweed combo:

So, what say you?

EDIT: This thread has already shown me some gear I have never heard of. The responses are much appreciated!

Ibanez Prestige RGA121VLF with Dimarzio Breeds ?
Laney Lionheart L20h 20watt head ?
MesaBoogie Road King 2X12 cab :'(

I've never played a Vigier Shawn Lane signature model or a Suhr Modern so i don't know if i'd like them, but they have the qualities that i prefer. I thought i'd like the Music Man Petrucci model, but the 2 in Plumstead Bothners that i played were fairly disapointing - both guitars could do with a good setup though.

I've never played a Blackstar amp or a Marshall JVM, but i might like them as they seem to have aspects that i like.

Although i don't have the collection that Aubs has, i have the guitar and amp that i really want. Now, about the cab...

Guy, I may have all the goodies, but if I had your TALENT.......my dreams would be complete!!!!
But I'm slowly working at it!

Riaan

My own Partscaster, similar to a David Gimour signature strat, assembled after years and years of looking for the parts I like most, then assembled, set up and maintained for me by one Alan Ratcliffe... ?

As far as amps go, I'm happy with what Guitar Rig offers. Would just get much better studio monitors.

Both those guitars are basically top of my list, might change my mind if I play them.
But they sure look good ?

I would definately trade the wife and kids(I'll even chuck in a swimming pool and lapa) for the Vox ?
