Mighty Mite are a cheaper way to do the partscaster thing, but the quality control is pretty shocking. Some of their pickups are surprisingly good for the price, but their wooden parts are usually lacking. Their other electronics and hardware is mostly cheap, generic Asian stuff.
I've got one MM birdseye maple boat neck of theirs and I've never been happy. Tonally dead, not properly prepared before sealing (with a poly sealer), a badly repaired chip on the heel and - although billed as figured wood - unremarkable grain. I'm replacing it with a USA Custom Guitars neck as soon as I can.
USA Custom Guitars are my favourites at the moment. Good quality, hand selected wood (4A figure as standard, 5A on request - but tone is the primary selection criteria), very well made and they do most adjustments to stock specifications at little to no cost. They don't sell hardware, but that's not a problem with all the quality hardware suppliers that are around.
Warmoth Can do some really good stuff, but concentrate on pretty stuff that they can sell for a premium price from their (rather good) web site store. The place for exotic woods. They charge you extra for many small modifications away from their spec designs (which soon start adding up) and will flat out refuse to do many things. They used to be very good, but I found the tonal quality of their stuff has gotten a little hit-and-miss the last few years. Never liked their compound radius necks as I find them way too flat (12" - 16", I prefer 9.5" - 12").
Other than that, there are others like Edenhaus and Musikraft (there's a whole bunch of 'em under
my link list Guitar sites), which are also well priced but a little iffy on the quality control (not ideal when shipping is a 30,0000 km round-trip).
