I must say this competition keeps my guitar playing interest alive , whenever I go through a dead period(It happens now and again), the weekly competition gets me going again
Me too, definitely. But I must say, having the keyboard and tons of samples/sounds, I tend to be a bit distracted from focusing on guitar playing. But it certainly gives me practice in composing, which is perhaps where I'm more able anyway.
But yes, the shampoo one is not that easy after all! I played around with something last night - I've this idea that it should have a "sea" or "water" kind of sound, mellow nylon string, add9 chords and so on. Ended up with what can only be described as a soundtrack for Space Porn.... ?...no one will buy shampoo associated with my tune. Will try again tonight.
