word guys any of you er, cats, been to see the new wolverine movie? might go down to the cinema tomorrow evening and check it out.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Don't expect extremely accurate story lines or amazing CGI though.

Good escapism movie.

In comparison to films like Transformers it was a little weak. There is better out there and it was used in the previous X films.

I will say well done to Gavin Hood (Tsotsi director) as he did a sterling job of it.

i see... i guess I'm not that critical... as long as there is action I'm usually quite satisfied ?

Who needs a storyline when you have guns to blast it all away? ?

It is FULL of holes and changes in the plotline and history if you are a fan of the X-Men series (The comics, not the movies.) Otherwise, yeah, it is a good skop, skiet en donner movie.

Yup, escapism!

Origins actually has a great story line, a hole or two in places but you can easily overlook that.
The SO followed the comic book story and pointed out the deviation afterward but me as a "XMen lite" fan didn't notice.

Mind numbing action flick. You'll enjoy it if you switch your brain off and only take in bits and pieces to keep you going on the story line.

And you can't really compare Transformers to any movie. Michael Bay and Industrial Lights and Magic are industry gold. It took them 38 hours to render one frame when there was a transformer in it. 38 hours of work!!

Every transformer had over 1000 frikken parts. ???

But nonetheless pretty cool. Bring on Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen.

I think it provided a great insights to how X-men came about. I still remembered when I watch the X-men cartoons, I had no ideas how the mutants came together.
