Nuendo vs Cubase

What is the difference between Nuendo 3.2 and Cubase SX 3?
Besides for audio/video syncing, higher sample rates and the higher price of Nuendo, are they the same program? In other words, can Nuendo do everything that Cubase can do plus more?

Same Audio engine, etc. so sound quality is the same. Nuendo has the additional post production features for video and also networking features for bigger facilities that do a lot of distributed processing.

Apparently some of the audio features included in V4 Cubase are not included in V4 Nuendo as standard - they are available ...as an optional extra. The upgraded, full-featured version of Nuendo offers everything that Cubase does with the added video capabilities (at a price), but nothing audio-wise that Cubase does not have.

So I'd say, for audio only, Cubase is the way to go, and Nuendo for video.

Exactly what a friend who is a sound engineer said to me. Stick with Cubase at the lower price, unless you need the video capabilities.
