Since getting my new pc I can't figure out how to play sound through my back speakers while my front speakers are connected to my toneport. Would it be possible for me to plug my amp straight into the back of the toneport? I don't wanna just stick it in just in case it results in sparks/fire/explosion/nuclear fallout or any similar disaster. ?

If your amp has a line out (and for best tone, a speaker-simulated line out), you can plug into the toneport. Otherwise you'll need a mic and plug that into the mic inputs on the Toneport.
As for the rear speakers, I think you'll need to enable your onboard soundcard and assign that as default for the rear/sub speakers. I'm not sure if Windows lets you split multichannel audio between two different cards though. Might be an either/or situation.

Before I saw your post I just plugged the jack into the input in the amp.. and it worked. But it did have a few funny buzzing sounds now and again. I'll plug into the line out and see if that improves it.
But I also found that I get sound from the toneport and from windows if I plug the rear into the toneport and leave the front in the pc. So problem solved ?
