Hey everyone...
Me and my band, Cavalry Calls, recently had the privilege to shoot a music-video that'll be aired on MK324 in the near future, but at the moment we have a problem... We booked studio time and worked with a different bunch of great guys (on a Pro Tools HD setup I might ad) but for some rather interesting reason the final product literally sounds like something done at home.
The video came out deliciously, but we're not willing to use the recorded tracks for the final product, and we're desperately looking for a professional studio to record in. We understand that with quality comes a price tag, but we're willing to invest in the situation though... We play straight up rock, and as far as an engineering perspective goes, we'd want the track to sound like something off Alter Bridge's Blackbird album (not on par obviously, just more or less something to that extent).
Does anyone perhaps know off such an institution that may be of any help to us? We don't mind traveling (within SA that is ? ), but we're rather desperate to get it done so that we can get some airplay haha. ?
I've attached a link to a video of our studio session, accompanied by one of the tracks we laid down, and while on the topic of subconscious advertising, adding the band page as a friend would be an added bonus! ? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot!!!!
Good luck with the recording. Let everyone here know how it's going when you get there! ?
