The first half is just drums and a single guitar (with MIDI). Thanks Lethe. I titled it wrong. It should have been TV GAME. I should have stuck with the more Mozart theme instead of bringing in the Tarrega, but perhaps with better execution it would have worked. It was a stretch for me to see the acoustic guitar accompanying a "computer" sound, but I found a tone that worked. It's made me realise how much work I need to do to be able to reproduce all the sounds at will. Hearing myself recorded does encourage me to do better. As for my tuning, I must admit my ear plays tricks on me. I've been meaning to get my tuner up and running again.

Loved yours Alan, A cute song. I'm biased towards cute.
Tailon, I thought yours was a good rendition or leisure suite Larry. It came together nicely.

This is one of the challenges with the best entries I've heard since my time here. Great stuff all round. Have to have a favorite though and it was a tight one, had to go with Alan. I felt as if I were standing in a cafe when I heard that.

Would've loved to entered this one, maybe next time.

That often happens. I presume that some vote only in one category - maybe those with limited bandwidth to download. Or possibly some are only interested in hearing the advanced category. Who knows? As long as votes in one category don't go over the number of voters, we can at least be fairly sure that there is no vote fraud going on.

In the best case scenario, out of the 27 voters 20 people cast 2 votes, one in each category and 7 people cast only 1 vote in the A category. In the worst case scenario 10 people cast 2 votes each in the beginner category, 10 people cast 2 votes each in the Advanced category and 7 people cast only 1 vote in the A category ???

Pity about that. The (B) category is so close that the extra votes would probably turn out to be deciding votes.

Alan: I agree about the tone of my guitars. I especially chose this sharp tone though to Imitate old Dos speakers! I wouldn't use this tone in the modern age!
