Let’s see...

From the Northern Suburbs, Durbanville. Born and raised.

Started playing at 16 (self not-taught) Pissing time away with Nirvana, Soundgarden and Metallica songs.
Stopped playing for a few years after getting back from UK. Mainly due to my crappy Les Paul copy which had every defect in the book, thus demoralizing me on a daily bases.

Then a couple of years ago I got the itch again. So I got myself a Ibanez AEL 20 (Kickass guitar by the way) for a kickass price! (Thanx Craig) hehe..

Started getting lessons from a friend and discovered the wonderful world that lies beyond bar and power chords.

Music I like playing is mainly blues and blues inspired southern rock.

About 7-8 month ago I decided to tick off one of my items from the "To do before you die you lazy bastard" list. Namely No.4...Buy Gibson Les Paul. So that I did. Beautiful and very happy with her. The only crappy part is money is tight and playing her through a Marshall mg dfx100.... I know! I know! But the credit crunch is getting to everybody! Getting a valve amp is next on the list....

But so yeah....loving it and happy to be here...
