kids should come with warning labels
About two years ago, a friend of my wife visited and at bedtime, she took out her toothbrush and left it lying somewhere within reach of our eldest, then 2 years old. It wasn't long before I was shocked to hear the words "toothbrush inside the speaker" coming from the living room. Yes, our girl had pushed the toothbrush into the soundhole of my subwoofer...
Imagine an audiophile, who placed the speakers with a laser guide to get all the right angles, marked his chair's spot exactly, who tweaks the system to perfection every few seconds, who spent months reading about acoustics...such a person doesn't want a toothbrush inside his subwoofer. I immediately played a music DVD and instantly heard how imperfect the sound has become. I was livid...my system was ruined!
The next day I opened up the subwoofer and out came the toothbrush....along with a half eaten apple, all dried out and brown, and a little plastic toy block... ?
