it depends if I'm comfortable playing around the people in the house. With my granny being here, I only play when her and my mom go out...which is rare...maybe once a week...twice if I'm lucky. If I do happen to play guitar while everyone's at the house, my granny keeps on checking on me and talking to me...which I don't quite like...
Lol, I used to practice in my room and if anyone walked in I'd stop and wait till they left.
Nowadays I try get at least 2 hours a day but its difficult. My wife talks to me all the time while I practice as well so I try encourage her to do something else at the same time. She says she likes listening to me which also bugs me. especially if I am trying to write. I HATE getting suggestions while in my creative zone, "why don't you do this," or people pull faces if it doesnt sound right... AAARRGGHHH!!
oh, I also have a guitar at work. I get here an hour early so I use that time to run through my reading skills (coming slowly) and if i have quiet time during the day I play a little in the office.
a mate suggested I make a practice journal so I can record how much time I get in each day to see if I am meeting my goals. Its a very good idea.
