Danelectro effects?

Anyone know anything about these imaginatively named pedals? I see there are a crapload of them out there and most of them are dirt cheap. I'm tempted to order one just to hear what do I get for the money. Has someone used them? What are they like?

By all accounts they are fairly good sounding pedals. The knob positioning on the front side instead of the more usual top of the pedal makes them difficult to adjust on stage though. There has also been some furore over the Transparent Overdrive as it seems that the circuit is a direct clone of the boutique Timmy pedal - cheaper components, but still a clone.
