The thing about copying source code is very very difficult. There usually are only one or two 'best' ways of doing things and code with similar goals tends to look similar. Look up the whole Santa Cruz lawsuit. Or maybe don't cuz it's so boring.
Anyway what I meant was they could at least learn how it's done - less is more. It's almost like they approach code like jazz musicians approach solo's - notes are cheap. Think "you take the mouthpiece away from your mouth".
The worst part to me is that they firstly dump the browser on all their OS users (too many anyway) and then start deviating from the accepted standards of displaying html - forcing web servers to distinguish between browsers and having separate drivers. Every time I get this "this web page is best viewed with Internet Explorer x.x" in my screen it makes me want to forget about the page in the first place >☹
