Maintenance?

My guitar is stock standard, I've had it for just under two years now but I only really picked it up in November last year.
I've changed the strings and had it reset. Apart from my rust problem which alan helped me with, could I be damaging my Axe by neglecting something I've over looked like oiling it or not wiping certain parts down?
Or is it one of those things that I just play till it breaks and replace parts as I go along, like the rust on my pick ups?

I have a Cort G254.

Aside from cleaning it and feeding it the occasional set of fresh strings, there isn't really anything. The G254 has a maple fingerboard so no oiling is necessary.

A slight problem,

Just realized my neck is maple but my fretboard is rosewood.
My axe is different from the one on Cort's site.
Do I need to take any precautions or special revisions with a rosewood fretboard?

Oh and how much should I expect to pay for a set of D'addario EXL120?
Last time I got rigged for R210 for a new set of strings, unsure of the brand or name.

Just clean/condition it with lemon oil once or twice a year.

I'm embarrassed to say I don't know :-[. I buy by the box and get a good price for the whole box - I pay attention to the discount, rather than the end price. I'd guess about R70 a set is the going price - obviously more if you're paying someone to fit them too. Anyone?
