PUP Upgreade for AFS75T

Ibanez AFS75T has ACH-1 and ACH-2 PUP's as standard.

Any thoughts on a P90 type PUP upgrade. Any suggestions on other options?

Has anyone done an Ibanez Humbucker upgrade on an Artcore and what were the results?

Looking for a good classic rock sound, not too compressed.

P90s are an option, but it depends on what you want to get out of the guitar. They are particularly raucous pickups, mid heavy, in-your-face, with lots of bite that make them well suited to rock. They're less convincing at subtle stuff though - they do mellow out a bit if you back off the volume control a touch, but they still have a bit of a gnarly edge to them even then.

If you want to try some humbucker-size P90s, the Gibson P94 is plenty authentic. Otherwise, for more modern takes on it (the same only "more so", if that makes sense), the Harmonic Design Z-90s and the Duncan Phat Cats are both excellent choices.

As far as humbuckers go, the Lollar Imperial low winds are wonderful in hollowbody guitars. Basically they are a vintage-style take on the PAF pickup, but wound a little cooler. Articulate but still full, and they capture the character of the hollow body perfectly without allowing it to become overbearing. The standard winds work well if you want a bit more grunt, along the lines of a Les Paul.

Otherwise there is nothing wrong with any of the good PAF style pickups - Duncan '59, Seth Lover or Antiquity PAFs, DiMarzio 36th anniversary PAF, WCR Crossroads, WCR Darkbursts, Gibson Burstbuckers, Bare Knuckle "The Mule", etc.. Any of these will be a step up from the generic Artcore pickups you have.
