Hi All
My wife's Ibanez AFS 75T has a floating bridge. The problem is that when you use the Bigsby, the bridge rocks forwards and backwards with the Bigsby movement, causing the tuning and intonation to go slightly out.
Has anyone else who has a AFS experience a similar problem, or do you know of a solution.
Some suggestions has been to glue the rosewood bridge support to the body of the guitar to stabilize the bridge... :-[. maybe there is a replacement bridge assembly that solves the problem.
I will be sending the guitar in soon for replacement Graphtech saddles and a graphite nut which should help with the general tuning and stability of the guitar.
Any suggestions....

Bigsby bridges are supposed to rock backwards and forwards. It's a feature. ?
To be honest, it's not the best system in the world for tuning stability. Your plan of going for the Graph Tech saddles is the best bet, but it will mean changing the entire Bigsby bridge assembly for a more Gibson-style one.

???
I should think a T-O-M roller bridge is the only really good bridge in combination with a Bigsby?

Graph Tech saddles actually work out lower friction and give better return to zero. Roller saddles only work well when they are new and unworn (as thousands of Kahler users discovered).

Thanks for the info, will change plans for guitar that is still to be built.

Hi Guys
Thanks all for the info.
I have already ordered a set of Graph Tech saddles and new Graph Tech nut. I will let you all know how this improves the guitar once fitted and the guitar reset.
Cheers
