1) Has to be acoustic unless you use (3) or (4) to get an amplifier on to that island. So I'd take my trusty Morgan
2) Oh... that's really hard. ONE album to sustain me for some unknown but non-trivial period of time? I'd want something that could give me plenty to think about and sustained fascination. Hmmmm.... probably
Mirror Blue by Richard Thompson. I think that has some of his best songwriting, and the production is a bit odd-ball which makes it a little harder to get into.

4) Swiss army knife - a good one with a magnifying lense and serious cutting power
