Just went shopping at Bert Kostner percussion and I see he carries some product lines that Ive never heard of before..
Maybe some of the fundis here can shed some light on quality etc..

I bought a set of super light .009 Gato strings and was just wondering about quality...

From what I've heard, Hamer guitars are quite decent. They have a budget line called Slammer or something aswell if I'm not mistaken.

I played on a Hamer Bass before. Build quality was quite good, also had very nice feel and tone. Don't know much about Slamer, only heard about it.

The better Hamers are world class - really impressive stuff. Lines like the Slammers are your typical, decent Asian entry-level guitars.
