New Events Calendar

This forum software we're using comes with software that handles events, birthdays, holidays and so on. I've just enabled so please give it a test run. We'd like to see:

Your band's gigs
Music fests you know of
Your album release date
And other events you think fellow members would be interested in knowing about

We'll set some rules later on if it starts getting abused but, in the meanwhile, please take the opportunity to post your events there. It automatically has birthdays in there, in case you're wondering whose part you can gatecrash next (KIDDING!)

Is possible that one can add some more info of the event,kind of like opening a new thread when clicked on?

Sure thing Manfred, just make sure "Link Event to Post" is selected when you post your event and it'll create a new thread where you can put in the details. At least, that's my understanding of it. Give it a shot.
