So I guess what I'm trying to say is that when you sold the amp you got what you wanted and your cousin paid you what you wanted. He might have been doing you a favour at the time because you might not have been able to sell it as easily on the open market and might then not have been able to get your Marshall. In good faith I think you should give him the full R2000 (or very close to that) back for the amp if you want it. Otherwise make him a emotionally disconnected offer of say R1600 and tell him to list the amp for sale here and in Gumtree for the price he paid. If it sells for his R2k asking price (which I think it will), you should have paid him the R2k back. If not, you've got a great deal at your R1600 offer and he's rid of it.
That's what I meant about a clear conscience! Like I said, 2k today is worth less than what it was worth 2 years ago....!!!! Great minds ....
Have to keep the relationship golden..I'll need a scout in the states to ship parts/guitars to me. Cheesy
Good thinking!!! Not a scout, an agent! Ha ha ha.
