Hey everybody,
After much discussion with Norio and Alan, i suggest that every community member submit a lick-a-week lesson in tab format for the benefit of all on this forum. You can follow the following format or whatever you feel comfortable with:
Genre
Key or Chord progression
Tab detailing phrasing
Fingering
Pedal/Amp settings or ideal tone for playing the lick
Summary of the lick involved (as in appropriateness and the general feel of the lick)
This is just a suggestion and forum members are more than welcome to improvise on the above.
Look forward to seeing the lessons roll in.

I can't wait for this! Hoping to be able to offer some video lessons myself. I have this one lick that's absolutely killer (I think so anyway ?) that I'd love to share.
Let's put these lick-a-week lessons in the "Lessons" board with a "LAW: " prefix.
Eg:
LAW: Pentatonic madness
Or whatever.

Speaking of which, i met up with Gareth today and we went over to his place and jammed all afternoon. We managed to record a 1 minute 30 second clip, which i like to call "Explosion in Am7". Check out Gareth's kick-ass funky bass lines.
