Hi guys! My kids started a band a while ago. This is obviously on a small budget so please be gentle. I have managed to get hold of a very nice Fender Bassman valve amp with a blown valve. Living on the East Rand does not make finding spares easy. Can anybody tell me where to get hold of these pieces of gold?

Many of the bigger music instrument stores should have them. Failing that, speak to the ladies at Mr. Valve. 011 783 1685. If you need help figuring out the model of the faulty valve, let us know.

Is it a power valve or pre-amp valve F?
The Bassman takes 6L6s for power valves, which are quite common. Have you contacted Music Mate near East Rand Mall yet?
