The Mother's Milk set of single coil pickups come with vintage staggered Alnico V pole pieces, hand bevelled for authentic retro vibe and increased magnetic focus under each string.
Scatterwound by hand using original plain enamel wire, the calibrated coils have a touch more power and mid range chunk over stock with a clear, detailed top end. Reverse-wound, reverse polarity middle pickup, cloth "push back" cable, wax potted to prevent michrophonic feedback and guaranteed for life.

I have been playing with them for a while now and I just love these pickups, they are so much warmer than the stock Fenders that my US strat came with (the Fenders are actually pretty crap compared to these) The BKP have brought my guitar to life, the tight woody character is a spot on description of the sound. I had them put a base plate under my bridge pickup to give me more bottom end, just a wonderful full sound and a great addition.

Now i AM going to have to put Bareknuckles in all my guitars and future guitars ? Wonderful customer service, great guy to work with, great advise, lifetime warranty, hand made, great quality and superlative sound. What more could i want? :dance:

They cost me GBP 153 including shipping and R350 VAT & 'DUTY' Worth every cent in my mind.

I have heard alot about the Apaches' never played them myself however.

I would love to try the Irish Tours, Vintage hot. All in good time. Either way I'm converted.
