Also started reading up on recording, Have Sonar and Reason installed....... Hugely complicated.
What software do you prefer ?

Sonar and Reason are both Good.
I run Cubase SX3 with Steinberg Hypersonic, Battery 3 and Reason4
There are some other nifty VST that I have installed, but I hardly use them.
If you can get a signal onto your Recording Program(Sonar) , and get a goodlooking waveform, thats the hardest part.
The rest is all fun and games

I worked in PE for 11 months a long time ago, and jammed with some really cool musos in Uitenhage,
yep, that was a long long time ago. Enjoyed the "Friendly City" though, especially the groupies then (and boy, PE had some cute ones, still any around?)
