Dirk Just curious to see how many of which team supporters we got here? I'm a Stormer, but havent wore my jersey for a while :-[ (For obvious reasons) (old forum) Poll Results: Which Rugby Team Do You Support? Blue Bulls: 1 Lions: 2 Stormers: 4 Cheetas: 2 Sharks: 5 Non South African Team: 0 Don't watch rugby: 5
[deleted] Yes at the moment a shameful Cheetah ? ( I grew up in the Free State) Hate the Bulls, and when your X is a blou bul dancer, it makes it worse >☹ hahahahaha :roflmao:
CDee I'm a Lions supporter. But being a Lions supporter is like having a brother in jail. You love him, but you don't talk about him... ?
Bob-Dubery Games in which the ball is struck are superior to games in which the ball is kicked. Cricket is the finest game of all. I try to pay attention when the Boks are playing, but otherwise I don't pay much attention to rugby. I think it's a less interesting game than it once was. Sure it's faster and the players are fitter and stronger, but they're also more uniform now, the game is less accomodating of different personalities and physiques. I liked it more when you had architects scrumming down with shunters, when you had skinny wings and big, dumpy front row forwards who could hardly run 10 paces.
Sean Tailon. wrote I'm a Shark ........ But i thought we weren't allowed to talk pollitics .... :roflmao: I'm a Cheetahs supporter...so lets not talk politics Tailon ? ? ? ...sorry I just can't help myself, mercifully we won our last match against the... ? ? (and this from the guy whose team is firmly anchored to the bottom of the log ? )
dee bLuEs aDDicT wrote Weird to see no Bulls supporters as yet... Maybe they're hiding after this weekend? I support the Bulls in it's Super 14 incarnation, and of course the Springboks. Other than that I'm just there for the braai and beer afterwards... ?
Heath it be a comically game , where we take a whole lot of men , give them very short figure hugging shorts , tight tops (and they swear they not gay) , then they take a pigs bladder and fill it with air and they toss and kick it around , every now and again they all hug and discuss the ball then they throw it out the back and chase after it again .
Ray A great game to play and a great game to be a spectator as well. I dont understand how some people are so vocally disdainful of it. I find myself not really supporting teams anymore. More like I support individuals. Victor Matfield, Kankovski (?), Gitteau (?), Sharpe, etc.. But NOONE from NZ!! But I suppose at the end of the day I will support the Sharks as PMB is my Alma mater.
inflames I have to go with Stormers, I can't believe what a poor season they have had! And basically any team playing against the stormers Jip, tipical Blue Bull supporter comment ???
