First attempt at recording metal core

Ok so i finally have the guts to post my recording. The quality is not great and made mistakes all along this recording.

It's quite "mushy", maybe too much distortion.Did you tune down as well?

Throw in some grind blasting, 16th note double bass, high vocals, satanic/blasphemous lyrics and heavily distorted bass and you got a perfect black metal song ?

lol That guitar tone/riffs actually sound more black metal than Metalcore hehe

It was suppose to sound like black metal: ) im gonna change it a bit. I don't have a base or drums. I have a keyboard which i am going to add some strings. I am using reaper to record and the guitar rig 3 plug in. What are good drum programs out there that i can use to record the drums.

Try Accoustica Beatcraft if you're looking for entry-level drum software, it comes with a whole bunch of kits for all different styles.

try drop c and go check out addictive drums at their website,u can download a free version-downside,no toms.another than that,beatcraft as mentioned.but sound wise add is a lot beta!
