What are you doing for the long weekend?

So what are you guys and gals up to this long weekend? I'm going to a wedding. A whole weekend wedding thing. We start off tomorrow afternoon with a braai and then Saturday have the wedding. Then on Sunday we all have a potjie together. Looking forward to it. ?

Like inflames and aubs, I have to work today but tomorrow and Sunday I'm not allowed to work because Sunday is our 1st year wedding anniversary and we're spending the weekend together. So that's cool ?

Firstly congrats on the wedding anniversary. Hope you spoil her ?

PS3 is the coolest toy, mine get used mostly as a multimedia device.
I store all my music and music DVD's on it.

My boys don't allow me anywhere near their Playstations! (Will only allow them near my stuff when they become more responsible!!!! Ha ah ha ha)

I come up to PTA quite often, have a supplier in Centurion called Tswane Digital Solutions. Maybe I'll pop in one day and say hi, and have a squizz at your Korg! You did say something about this amazing piece of gear?

I am so excited about going to Manyane Lodge in the Pilanesberg, and I'm leaving tomorrow and staying for 4 nights. I haven't seen a game reserve since 1975.
Just packing my all purpose Yamaha Nylon. No mod cons, just hikes, game drives, braais and red wine.

I spent most of the long weekend in the studio producing for a band. They've been here since last weekend and we're working hard to get tracking on their album done. They went back to Cape Town late Saturday-afternoon and just as they left another friend who I don't get to see too often popped by. Yesterday (Sunday) I spent the whole day with my family since it's my only day off over the long weekend. I took my wife horse-riding and we had a braai with the rest of my family, after which we all took a looooooooooong drive through Seweweeks Poort, which was insanely beautiful. I just got up and will be spending today editing and starting mixes because they've gotta be done by next weekend.

The only parts that suck a bit when you are your own boss are things like long weekends and holidays. You don't really get to enjoy them that often. But I guess that's true in many jobs where you aren't your own boss too so I don't mind it too much. Besides my job doesn't feel like work anyway. ?

Thanks guys ? Was a lekker weekend. Had lots of fun playing Midnight Club 3 and Mortal Kombat vs DC (among others but those were the favourites ?).
