Manfred-Klose Seems like burns dont make them anymore, it's now an official brian may guitar(has been for a while now), but only found the webpage now. http://www.brianmayguitars.co.uk/
dee Graeme Parfett wrote At 33.5k before duties and tax they should be ? There is a cheaper, sub 500 Pound version available as well... ? //Edit: Looking at it again, even the nicer Signature only sells for around 650 Pounds.
AlanRatcliffe Dee beat me to it - the production line models are much cheaper. They aren't identical to the original, but the compromises made are good ones. Most people don't like exact copies of the original anyway, as it has a very unusual neck. BTW - the original cost Brian and his dad a total of GBP 4 - to but the pickups second-hand. everything else aside from tuners they made themselves from scratch, including the interesting trem.
NorioDS I wonder how many repairs that thing has seen. I'd cry if I made such an awesome guitar with my dad and then broke it or something.
