Well, as we all either know or have heard, microphones is quite the weapon in your arsenal of recording!! So I thought.. Why not just do a quick recording of different mic placements set to different polar patterns.
The room is a very dead sounding Vocal Booth, recorded with no compression or eq. All that was added at the end was a Waves L3 comp on the master out to get the recordings louder.
The acoustic is a badly set up, out of tune Washburn (cheap, but I love her more than my Tailor). You are allowed to throw tomatoes at the guitarist, which is me. But this is just a quick reference to give you a chance to hear what the different polar patterns do (if you have not had the chance yet).

Please excuse the John Mayer rip off, but that was all I could think of to play. ☹
Alan & Norio I just remembered that part about 'copyright' in the forum rules.. If this is one of those, feel free to delete the post..
