What really stood out from Stud's track was the vox (Were they re-vamped too? The fx are great on the vox, particularly the clarity and the delay/slapback repeats) - the slide leads worked too - just prefer a slidey rhythm section I guess.
Nicely done gents, sad to see little interest in slide, my attempts didn't stick. Liked what I had one day, hated the next.
One thing, technical challenges are tough - that is, if one has to learn a totally new technique. While I have a little time on slide, it's so little that's it's basically like learning guitar from scratch - even though the challenge was longer, it's probably 5 mths shy of developing a slide technique I'd feel brave enough to try in public...
So onto the next one - you two want to brainstorm the next one together?
