So a verrrry subtle April Fools Joke by Scott Manley led me to the Voyager Golden Records - which is a very real thing that launched on the Voyager space probe back in 1977.
The B side of one record is a bunch of tunes - I was really interested in what they sent as a representation of what 'music' should be represented.
Mostly traditional tunes and classical but there's space for Johnny B. Goode (Original Chuck Berry flavour) 😃
What would we send as a representation now? Would Jimi now make the cut, would he be displaced by EVH? Tosin Abasi perhaps? Of course if we let the internet vote, it'll be Guitary McGuitarFace or Right Said Fred.
