So as I mentioned before about the different online learning I've participated in recently. Fender Play tought you music theory to the extend of feeling overwhelmed and demotivated
Truefire is awesome, thus far, apart from doing the 2 sections of introduction to guitar first, then choosing your paths(the app is backwards, you choise your path and then get introduced) it's been great,The teach you all the chords available (Fender play sometimes dropped in a chord that you needed to figure out first),then they show you 30 different finger picking styles( I'm sorry, but I point blank refuse to grow my nails for finger picking- Mark Knopfler didn't and he's a finger picking expert and it looks gross). Tgere is also a few teachers there, one whom I've noticed is Tommy Emmanuel. So far I've not yet felt overwhelmed and learning way more. And it's for beginners all the way up to pros(let's be honest here, when do we stop learning the guitar- NEVER)
I would love to know who got to use the Gibson app and how are the lessons there?
